The Fire Place, Patio & Grill was started in the early
80’s as a retail division of our chimney sweep service,
The Chimney Doctor, Inc. We began in a small
building in Concord, and we are now in our fourth
location, a 14,000 square foot building located at 487
Corban Ave. SE in Concord, which is highway 73 East
running from Concord to Mt. Pleasant. We are just
a few hundred feet from the eastern city limits.
Our primary retail business when we began was the sale of wood-burning stoves, inserts, and the accessories for
these. Over the years,we have expanded our retail offerings into one if not the premier fireplace and patio stores
in the Carolinas. Our product line now includes all types of appliances that
burn a variety of fuels, including wood, gas, coal, pellet and fuel oil. Our
offerings in this area not only include free standing stoves and inserts, it
now extends to a full range or fireplaces, facings, mantles, andirons, tool
sets, glass enclosures and screens. Our gas log selection, displayed in a
home like setting, insures that a consumer can make an educated choice
of the type and style that best fits their lifestyle and taste. Quite simply,
if we do not have a product to suit your needs in this area, you may not
find it.
Our product line goes further than just fireplaces and stoves. We also
carry a complete line of barbeque grills, both charcoal and gas, that
range from portable to built-in units. In this area, we are also one of
the leaders in the display and sale of grilling islands, which are sure to

We also have very good selection of outdoor furniture for your review.
We do sell the better lines of furniture and our quality of goods is much
higher than you will find at the big box home center stores.
Our retail operation has now expanded even further into the realm of outdoor living. We now have on display
several outdoor room settings, both outdoor and indoor display areas. Contrary to what you may have heard, this
is not a type of sunroom or a porch. Outdoor rooms are also called outdoor kitchens and have become
increasingly popular in the last few years. We now sell, install and construct all types of products for you to
either build your own outdoor room or let us construct it for you. More and more consumers are spending more
time at home, especially outside, and including an outdoor room can make your yard, porch or deck an extension
